Today was cool. I got to shoot an amazing Rock n Roll band called Luis & The Wildfires. Luis, Victor, Andrew and Ricky were great to shoot. This is what I live for. Not only is this band amazing you have to see them live to really experience the fury. I would no doubt rather shoot a band like the wildfires anyday than photograph a little goon like Justin Bieber. Lucha Libre
Walking down the road I ran into this sign for some Mexican Wrestling at 5:00pm. This reminded me when my grandmother would bring back mask from Mexico for my brother and I to play with. I thought the handmade sign was cool and the light was hitting it perfect. Wednesday, October 13, 2010
Brawling cucarachas
Finishing up a project I have been working on for about a year. Inspired by the movie Pinnochio where he goes to pleasure island. It is a series of portraits of kids who play hookey from school to fight, tattoo,destroy property and punch people in the face just for kicks. More coming soon!!!
