Finally got to shoot one of the most amazing rockabilly band to come out of the U.K. The Caesar's.!!

No Life til leather!!! East Los Thrash

I met some of the coolest guys awhile back. I have been taking alot of street portraits in Lincoln heights for a project i am working on when I ran into a group of guys that are hardcore thrash heads. I was immediately drawn to their style and look that i havent seen since the early 80's. I hope to go deeper with these guys to make a photoessay on East L.A. thrash!!!!

Jazz season opens at LACMA

LACMA opened its 20th season of jazz concerts with John and Gerald Clayton. Playing original compositions and standards it was a great way to enjoy a Friday. One of my favorite things to do with my family is to listen to and watch live jazz.

LEO MACHADO LIVE!!! SOLO QUEDAN PALABRAS RELEASE

Went over to the Little temple to support the homie Leo Machado as he releases his album solo quedan palabras. The live set was killer and I got some shots to show the intensity of the show. I did the photos for the album and wish Leo much success!!Check out Leo Machado's Solo quedan palabras!!!

The Yoruba House

I got some shots of artist Mary when I was doing some work on Broadway. She has a very cool look and was not afraid of the camera. These are raw street portraits done right on the sidewalk in front of the Yoruba House in Lincoln Heights.
