I was a part of a great event to end solitary confinement in the Prisons. I was invited by MC Pancho who was hosting the event. MC Pancho did a performance which was soo cool. Old school, laid back. Homie memories

Artist Portraits: Marlene Perez

I shot Marlene Perez of the Rhythm Shakers to begin the portraits for their upcoming album. I used ADOX film which is a film with emulsion from the 50's. I love the way they look. The greys are so smooth with rich blacks.

Street portraits: Sucio

I met Sucio on Skid Row. He had a skull wrapped around his beard that caught my attention. He was a dirty rocker from Mexico City he is into that real gritty satantic dark metal. Kind of scary, but not scary enough for me to photograph him.

I met Zach and Alexandria over at the Burger records store. They caught my attention right away. They were amazing. Zach's look was so cool, i decided to photograph from down below to show how tall he is and those awesome boots!!
