I got some shots of the Delgado Bros at the Jazz and Blues festival. They are an old school band of brothers from El Monte California. The played a great set and had everyone just enjoying the music on a hot summer night.

Established in 1993

I began taking taking pictures in 1990 of my friends with a cheap 35mm point and shoot camera my mom gave me. In 1993 I began to discover the art of taking photos using light, composition and positioning of the model. I have tried all sorts of photography, but I have always felt the most comfortable when I'm outdoors shooting people I find interesting. I also love shooting live music concerts too. I don't do anything new, I just try to document what I see the best I can. Trust me I screw up alot and miss many moments. After 17 years I still love doing this and working in the underground which means under freeways, in alleyways, projects and low light venues. Hopefully you check them out.

Where ever I may roam....

My last show of the year. A collection of images of people sleeping on the streets and thrown out mattresses. This was a great project to work on and I hope people like it. My goal was to get people involved and to think of how lucky we are to have a roof over or heads and help those in need. The Chop Shop September 2010.

Valencia Jazz and Blues
